Boeing's Starliner Shuttle Returns to Earth in One Piece, but Thruster Problems Persist—Astronaut Duo to Remain in Space for Six More Months

The maiden crewed spaceflight of the already embattled aerospace company was met with relief.

While the craft exhibited the same thruster issues it faced on its ascent, it returned intact. Boeing had hoped to bring Butch and Sunni back on the vehicle, but NASA refused to take the risk.

As such the two veteran astronauts will only be able to return in early 2025.
